The ZYS-series tunnel drilling jumbos are two-, three- and four-boom hydraulic rock drills for drill-and-blast excavation in railway, highway, water and metallurgy tunnels, as well as shafts and culverts. On the mining side, CRCHI also runs the same drill-and-blast platform down to a single-boom CYTJ45 (3 x 3 m up to 8.4 x 7.6 m faces) and a twin-boom CYTJ45/2 (4 x 4 m up to 9 x 6.8 m face, the closest comparator to the ZYS82), both on diesel-plus-electric articulated chassis sized for mining drifts, declines and drives.
Features
Integrated positioning and scanning device places the rig precisely in the tunnel.
Blast-pattern import enables automatic drilling without manual face marking; hole angle, position and depth are computer controlled.
High-power rock drill achieves drilling speeds of 3 to 5 m/min in suitable ground.
Real-time monitoring of drilling pressure, penetration rate and rotation supports MWD geological analysis and blast-pattern optimisation.
3D contour scanner builds a face point cloud to calculate over- and under-break against the design profile.
Fully enclosed cab with HVAC keeps in-cab noise below 78 dB and limits dust exposure.
Automatic logging of borehole and 3D-scan data supports geological review and earthworks calculations.
Remote network monitoring allows playback of jumbo movement and live instrument readings.
Suits full-face (including invert), large-section and micro-bench excavation methods, plus face drilling and pipe-roof work.
Optional automatic rod-coupling for advance drilling.
Plateau variant rated for operation up to 4,500 m altitude and -25 °C to +50 °C ambient.
