Roadheader
Roadheader
The XJH315-ED cantilever roadheader is a non-blasting excavation machine for road, rail and water-engineering tunnels. It integrates cutting, loading, transport and tramming, suiting blasting-restricted areas and weak ground where over- and under-break and slope failure must be limited.

Features
Electrically driven transverse cutter head rated for rock with compressive strength up to 120 MPa.
Wide cutting envelope from a single setup, covering a large face area without re-positioning.
Positioning and rapid scanning support automated cutting and cycle planning.
CRCHI foam dust-control system suppresses dust at source for improved air quality and visibility.
Cutting system targets a theoretical accuracy of 30 mm.
All travel and cutting power is electric, supporting tunnel-environment and energy requirements.
Optional 400 kW mobile electrical power vehicle allows short-distance repositioning and on-site assembly and disassembly.
Wear parts including the apron plate and scraper conveyor use high-strength wear-resistant steel; modular star wheel on the apron simplifies maintenance.
Equipped with cable reel, water-pipe reel and belt conveyor for self-contained operation.
Plateau variant rated for operation up to 4,500 m altitude and -25 °C to +50 °C ambient.
