The intelligent tunnelling excavator is a multipurpose unit for drill-and-blast tunnels, combining mucking, scaling, dust suppression, profile correction and data logging on a single platform. It suits rail, road and mining tunnels.
Features
Dual diesel and electric drive, with automatic cable reeling under electric drive.
Integrated water-spray dust suppression with a long water-pipe reel and automatic reeling.
Quick-change between bucket and milling head in around five minutes without manual hose connection.
Built-in laser scanner identifies over- and under-break areas of the tunnel.
Milling-head path is planned automatically against the design profile, with automatic correction of under-break and work-log generation.
Plateau variant rated for operation up to 4,500 m altitude and -25 °C to +50 °C ambient.
