UPS-20J(B) Mining Shotcrete Machine

UPS-20J(B) is a wet-mix robotic shotcrete carrier sized for narrow mine drives and small-section civil tunnels. A three-stage telescopic boom reaches 10.5 m and covers a 3 x 3 to 8 x 8 m cross-section, with the 4-5 m one-position jetting depth cutting how often the carrier has to be repositioned along the heading. The 1.8 m wide articulated four-wheel-drive chassis fits down development drives and decline ramps that wider rigs cannot enter; on-board screw compressor, accelerator-dosing hose pump and S-tube concrete pump make the machine self-contained at the face. Wired cabin and wireless remote control are standard. CRCHI Australia handles commissioning, parts and aftermarket support across Australia. For larger civil tunnel sections beyond the 8 x 8 m UPS-20J(B) envelope, the HPS-series shotcrete jumbo is the civil tunnel counterpart, with 30 to 50 m3/h pumping and working sections up to 31.4 x 17 m. The UPS keeps the narrow-drive footprint (1.8 m wide) that the HPS chassis cannot reach.

Suits sequenced excavation lining where one carrier handles drive-after-drive shotcreting at 1.8 m overall width. The wireless remote keeps the operator clear of the spray and rebound zone.

Benefits

One operator runs the wet-mix shotcrete cycle from the cab or remote pendant, keeping the operator clear of the spray and rebound zone. Proportional accelerator dosing keeps layer thickness and early strength repeatable across the spray pattern, with rebound as low as 10%.
