CYTJ45/2 Twin-Boom Mining Drilling Jumbo

The CRCHI CYTJ45/2 is a medium-to-large twin-boom mining hydraulic drilling jumbo for blast-hole and rock-bolt-hole drilling in underground drifts and tunnels. Two parallel-holding hydraulic booms cover a 9 m by 6.8 m maximum working face down to a 4 m by 4 m minimum section, drilling 45 to 89 mm holes to 4 m on a single rod at up to 3 m/min, with a quoted parallel hole-group positioning accuracy of ±0.5° and approximately 10% reduction in positioning time per cycle. The platform runs an articulated four-wheel-drive rubber-tyred chassis with hydrodynamic transmission, wet axle, parking brake and service brake, FOPS/ROPS certified canopy as standard (FOPS/ROPS enclosed cab optional), and a Yuchai 81 kW Tier 4-equivalent diesel as standard with Yuchai 81 kW Tier 3-equivalent, Yuchai 90 kW Euro V and a high-altitude module as options. The CYTJ45/2(Z) variant overlays a fully computerised control system: blast-hole plans built in CRCHI mine design software import directly into the jumbo, an on-board scanner captures the working-face point cloud, drilling executes automatically along pre-defined paths with adaptive anti-jamming and anti-idle-strike, MWD and electronic operation logs are generated per round, and an optional remote-control module supports beyond-line-of-sight operation; the FOPS/ROPS enclosed cab is standard. CRCHI Australia handles commissioning, parts and aftermarket support nationally. The civil counterpart is the ZYS-series tunnel drilling jumbo on the Tunnel Excavation & Support page, sized for larger railway, highway, water and metallurgy tunnel sections. The two-boom ZYS82 sits closest to CYTJ45/2 - same 25 percent gradeability and 4 x 4 m minimum section, but a 13.2 x 8 m maximum face, phi 41 to 140 mm holes and an all-electric tethered chassis.
