Fiber Reinforced Composite Bars
Fiber reinforced composite bars
Pultruded composite reinforcing bar made from basalt fibre, glass fibre and structural resins. Specified for permanent concrete elements where corrosion, electrical conductivity or magnetic permeability rule out steel, including pavements, bridge decks, marine and coastal structures, metro tunnel linings, station diaphragm walls and concrete designed for non-magnetic environments. Bar profile and surface deformation can be customised to project drawings.

Features
Corrosion-proof in chloride and marine environments
High strength-to-weight ratio reduces lifting and handling effort on site
Electrically insulating and non-magnetic, suiting non-magnetic concrete designs
Easy to cut and shape with standard site tools
Custom profiles and diameters available to suit specification
