CRCHI supplied a four-machine Jianghan-series TBM fleet for the Yangtze-to-Han River Water Diversion Project, the central-China leg of the broader south-to-north water transfer programme. Jianghan Neolithic Age rolled off on 22 November 2024 at 11.93 metres excavation diameter, the largest domestically produced open-type TBM to date, fitted with an immersive intelligent excavation system and L3 intelligent driving for the access and main tunnel. Jianghan Yunmeng followed on 23 December 2024 at 12.23 metres, the largest-diameter single-shield TBM applied in China, configured for an 11.77 kilometre drive beneath the Han River with a 600 metre minimum horizontal turning radius and a 10% maximum slope. Jianghan Long'an, the first dual-mode machine on the project, rolled off on 28 March 2025 at 12 metres, 3,585 tonnes and 80 mm/min advance speed, switching between EPB and single-shield modes. Jianghan Wudang completed the fleet on 9 July 2025 as a 12-metre-class cluster collaborator for coordinated fleet operations.
