Maglev Traffic System
Freight maglev train
First-generation freight maglev train using short-stator linear-motor traction and constant-conduction magnetic levitation. A single five-module train carries up to 55 tonnes and connects directly with standard intermodal containers. Driverless full-automatic operation removes the cab to lower labour cost, shorten headways and lift utilisation. Maximum operating speed is 60 km/h loaded and 80 km/h unloaded, with low noise and zero tailpipe emissions.
