CRCHI supplied a 14-metre-class large-diameter TBM for the Yangtze River Tunnel on the Yancheng to Yixing High-Speed Railway, the first high-speed railway shield tunnel in China to adopt the socket-and-spud segment lining system. The machine is equipped with multiple intelligent systems, including remote TBM driving and real-time condition monitoring of key components, supporting an integrated workflow of intelligent excavation, intelligent segment assembly and high-efficiency tunnel formation. The configuration advances CRCHI's fully intelligent construction model for long, high-pressure subaqueous high-speed railway drives, where lining performance and continuous machine availability govern overall programme outcomes.
