W-Beam Guardrail Installation Vehicle

The BHZ4-XC battery-electric W-beam guardrail installation trolley is engineered for high-volume highway barrier installation. A truck chassis carries up to 10 tonnes of W-beam stock, while a truss-mounted robotic arm with a magnetic gripper handles automated pickup and precise placement. A speed-synchronised feeder delivers each panel in step with vehicle travel, removing manual lifting from the installation crew.

Electro-permanent magnetic gripper rated at 120 kg lifting force handles 4 m three-wave guardrail panels, with the magnet only drawing current during 1-3 second magnetise/demagnetise cycles to conserve battery

Speed-synchronised feeder co-ordinates with the truss robot to deliver each panel to its preset position with no surface damage

Smart control logic, on-board diagnostics, fault alarms, construction logging, and 360-degree forward and reverse cameras support a low-headcount work crew
