Foundations & Diaphragm Walls
TRD Method Diaphragm Wall Equipment
The LSJ-series chain-cutter trench-cutting and remixing deep-wall (TRD) machine is the core plant for the TRD diaphragm-wall method. A continuous-loop chain cutter mixes the in-situ soil with cement and binder fluids (vertically downward or horizontally) to form a uniform-thickness, continuous, watertight soil-cement wall. Where additional structural capacity is required, steel sections can be inserted to form a combined cut-off and retaining diaphragm wall. Suitable for cofferdam cut-off walls in cohesive soils, sands, gravels, loose sand-and-gravel layers, cobbles, and weak rock, and for seepage cut-off walls in water-conservancy embankments.

Features
Multiple cutter types handle silt, sand, cobbles, strongly weathered rock, and other ground conditions across the working envelope
Low overall machine height enables operation under headroom restrictions of 6.5 m (further customisation available)
HVAC-equipped cab with large-format operator display and ergonomic joystick and button-panel controls
Construction depth from 0 to 90 metres, wall thickness from 500 to 1,200 millimetres
Joint-free, watertight wall with uniform top-to-bottom thickness, permeability coefficient down to 1x10^-7 cm/s
Real-time inclinometer monitoring achieves wall verticality of up to 1/250
Low cement-slurry injection pressure during mixing minimises disturbance to adjacent soils and structures, important for works near sensitive infrastructure
