CRCHI delivered TBM tunnelling for the Seosan cable tunnel in South Korea, with the breakthrough achieved in 2025. On 24 November 2024, two further CRCHI slurry TBMs completed Factory Acceptance Testing in the parent factory and were scheduled for the Gyeonggi Province power-cable project supplying the Greater Seoul metropolitan area. CRCHI secured the bid to supply six units of equipment for the broader initiative, with these two machines forming the first delivery against that award. The Gyeonggi alignment runs through high-strength hard rock crossed by fault zones and weathered sections under elevated groundwater pressure, conditions matched to design optimisations drawn from prior CRCHI work in Korea.
